AT&T's has great regulatory lawyers, but I still don't think they'll be able to merge RR and ATHM. It looks like they might be ready to try, though.

What I really wonder about is that announcement last night in which AT&T said they'd be offering "AT&T branded" services on Comcast systems. It sounded like they were thinking of more than just phone service with the AT&T bong and globe. But if Broadband is "AT&T branded", what does that do to @home. Does the name go away?

It will be interesting to hear of how the MSFT negotiations play out. T has one of the most powerful brand names in existence and they don't like to confuse it with other names. But Microsoft likes to display its name prominently on its products. I wonder whose name will be most obvious on the settop box TV-desktop.
