Castlewood: Really the Zip/Jaz killer?

I just pulled this reference from comp.sys.ibm.hardware.storage:

"I found the following comment about the new Castlewood ORB drive:

ugeek.com

I wonder if this is an isolated incident or a taate of things to come.
With the length of time the ORB was delayed, I'm sure Castlewood put
it through a torture test to eliminate just these kinds of problems."

Well, maybe not quite enough of a torture test. And it sounds like the customer reps are getting REAL friendly with time. ;)

Ricky, how's your SCSI ORB holding up? We haven't ever gotten a report (or actually maybe we did, I don't ever read your posts).

Dear Balls-without-Rocks, Brilliance refers to a strong light, which is hard to achieve with a dim bulb. The only short of value is one collected. Did you cover and at what price? Otherwise, there is no point in discussing paper profits. Eat do or don't.

Regrets, David S.

>My brilliant call

Rocky, maybe you should go start the thread:
"the Brilliant Call thread with Rocky"

I'm sure we'll all follow. Believe it or not,
we each have our own "brilliant calls", I've multiplied
my money several times over in both dell and athm,
but I don't post info praising my own investments on
ANY thread, let alone off-topic ones. You are pathetic.
