If prices go back up, demand will slow. Demand will slow anyway. We are past the point of diminishing returns of how much demand can be profitably stimulated by price reductions. Everyone who has any desire or use for any electronic device can easily afford the capital cost right now (although services, software, maintenance, etc. are still high). The pie isn't going to get any bigger through further price reductions, just less tastey. Land_Lubber
