Rande PRFM....I guess they want to clear the locker room talk up... "The good news: Nitro doesn't smell like sweat. But it is powerful enough to overwhelm an opponent, with a combination of musk, woodsy, spicy and marine scents." News today.. 05/05 12:12 Miami-Based Perfumania Seeks Knockout with New Fragrance May 4 (The Miami Herald/KRTBN)--In a tag team of bizarre opposites, Perfumania on Monday joined forces with World Championship Wresting to unveil the newest in "upscale" men's fragrances -- WCW Nitro. While some people might question the allure of professional wrestling to perfume buyers, Perfumania Chairman Ilia Lekach is convinced he's found a winner. His company can certainly use the help -- it posted a $19 million loss last year. "They have 35 million loyal viewers that cross all genders and all marketing boundaries," Lekach said. "That's a great audience for us." The good news: Nitro doesn't smell like sweat. But it is powerful enough to overwhelm an opponent, with a combination of musk, woodsy, spicy and marine scents. "We wanted something that was very sexy and masculine," said Stan Heuer, vice president of sales for Creations Aromatiques, which created the scent. For wrestling fanatics who can't wait until the planned Christmas launch, Perfumania will start taking orders on its Internet site in November. Nitro, which will sell for about $30 a bottle, will also be available at Perfumania's 287 retail stores. "Our champions like Bill Goldberg and Kevin Nash are really pumped about promoting a WCW branded fragrance," said Casey Collins, director of the WCW, a Time Warner/Turner Broadcasting System enterprise.
