I don't think this is an issue. Apparently, the infra people are unhappy that they have to exercise their options. My moles in building K say that the options treatment is standard (i.e. the options are 100% vested and there is a 90 day exercise period) and that there is no legal basis for the threatened suit.

Anyone else got info?

If interest rates go up, the application of a new present discount rate to future earnings will result in price declines across the board, including Qcom. It may take a sharp hicky in the process.
However, if the company continues with higher-than-market rates of earnings increases, the stock will move higher against the rest of the market.
