I've called 2 people today, who have requested I e-mail a suggested letter with info and the links of ProNetLink and my website for quick evaluation and information tools.

Virgina Commonwealth Depts. of;

Export Info Center and
Int'l Trade and Investment Development

This could help these people do their jobs better. Turned the ticker off.

More to come. -Jim

As an alternative, also check the government section of your yellow pages. I called and asked if there was interest, and rec'd one strong and one regular yes. I let them know who I was and why I was calling, they gave me their e-mails and I sent it right off to them. -Jim

I've been mentioning pnlk and b2b in general to various folks I meet inside the factory automation world. Not sure they "get it", but these are people who are trying hard to fit their delivery platforms to work inside an e-commerce infrastructure that is too new to completely understand. Cause it's not about technology really -- the real power is in what it does to the business process, and we won't know what that looks like for a while. So while Sun and AOL line up all the big houses to talk about e-commerce concepts that are really all their personal agendas, there is an emerging more *loosely coupled* infrastructure that already exists and is being enabled by companies like pnlk. Perhaps the biggest change is going to be that a myriad of niche players suddenly have global market access and real power to influence the way trade works. What does this mean for the giants, I wonder? They will undoubtedly exist, but compare the relative effort to turn a battleship to a PT boat. If they don't find the right kind of "trim tab", they are going to struggle. eob (end of babble)
