Uncle,

I agree. If they tried to provide any significant negative news at a private meeting like this, not only would we be pi**ed, but can you imagine how the other investment houses would react! Compaq took a tremendous beating in the analyst community for the slip that one of their executives made last February in a private meeting when he said that the quarter was looking soft.

Tate/Harmon wouldn't do it.

Dave

p.s. BTW the ball isn't in Rambus's court anymore. It's really up to Intel to provide any significant positive or negative news (since they control the Camino schedule) or the individual manufacturers (to let everyone know when they're shipping real product). <edit: Just re-read your message, unclewest, and saw that you already made this point>

Your exactly right. My only point being that to expect any upside bias from any MS meeting today is unrealistic. That is not the purpose of such meetings I suspect. You are a huge help & a great source of info., keep it coming, thanks.

Uncle, good news, the turnips strangely enough turned bullish yesterday around noon. Jumped into some of my favorites then (CYMI, AMAT and RMBS), but I am not sure yet if that is the end of the malaise, it looks like it, but we have to conquer some heavy supply in the $72 to $76 area. It looks good for a run to at least these level, of course, until EE comes back with some of their comments on RMBS (VBG).
