AOL, AMZN, EBAY, CNET caused even more damage by gapping down in the morning. WE have to just forget them until the trend reversal is clearer. I didn't see it clearer yesterday so I stayed out and warned everyone to do the same.

EXDS + 5 3/4 Earnings Play: UnitedHealth Group UNH +1 5/8 reporting tomorrow, the health sector is improving a lot PHSYB which I totally missed is up 20 points today. UNH chart is on a strong uptrend and comfortably away from its 52 week high. Stochastics are a bit overbought but the strong uptrend and an expected improvement in earnings could continue the trend.
Also if all else is lost try the golds as alternates. ABX and NEM are trading nicely, NEM has earnings our today but there earnings are usually less every quarter, which is why these golds are only really good for filler.

PCLN, QCOM , EXDS seem to be up now. Would you advocate initaiating long term (6 to 9 months) positions in these . Since I don't follow
the market moment to moment I need days like these to get into
good stocks at attractive pr ices as my horizon is typically more
than 6 months.

Thanks
