ALSC.. management (Amigo management), has asked me to spice up and decorate my pick. Alliance Semi is a SDRAM producer with a few secrets. The current price is only 3 19/32nds, yet its book value is 4.36 and has no long term debt and over 5 mil in cash.

The secret, which is better detailed on the ALSC thread, is that they own a sizeable chunk of BRCM weighing in at about 35 million which they got from BRCM's buyout of their share of another company. The downside is profitability, which they admit is on the distant horizon... although their last quarter came in better than expected. Now that I've told you all this the stock's going to be discovered and I won't have to hang my head. Its under accumulation, has a predictable trading range, a bottoming chart formation from which it might run up with little risk. Its not a REIT, its just a right kind of stock to drink beer over while others are being frantic.

Sergio: I asked Doug a question about his Short sell of IBM. Doug flamed me and I flamed him back. We are even, on this thread. ( I'll take the business to his thread )

Since both of us have answered each other, and that this thread is NOT for flaming, I request that DOUG no long post to me on this thread, and I will not post to him.

On to REAL business....
Covered my Short Sell of EGGS mid day for a small 1/4 gain. I should have covered earlier when I could have covered for a 3/4 gain... but oh well... a gain is a gain.

So, how do we work this?
Sold my GMGC yesterday late afternoon for a 1/2 gain. Shorted EGGS about 25 mins. after the open today and covered mid day today.

You see, having a portfolio for Daytrading does not work out well since the portifolio goes by open and close price and not mid day buy and sells.
None the less, I am very happy with my portfolio gains... guess my EGO < yep, I have one too. : ) > would like the portfolio to closer match the real trading pattern.
I know, I know..... I am just pointing that out, since you saw it in action today.

Put the trades in the portfolio as the rules < hisss > call for. I have enough gains to handle it. < ggg >
