Oh, the media's perspective is one thing. I just speak from the perspective of a stock holder that wants to see AAPL maintain faster-than-industry-average growth rates for the foreseeable future. That's easier to do when you're still small and capable of growing by stealing competitors' market shares.

That said, market share percentage is very important from the perspective of software developers, so I'm not exactly advocating that we ignore such numbers.

I guess I'm just looking at the silver lining. . .
