AT&T SURE KNOWS WHO TO PARTNER with. just look at the line up.
They might not have the subscribers yet.
But they sure have a solid FOUNDATION right now.

aOL = PHONE LINES = I DON'T THINK SO!

CABLE IS KING!

Pretty impressive, I must say. It kind of reminds me of great teams that have wonderful players -- but for one reason or another, they choke and don't make the playoffs. The Devils come to mind ... NHL hockey for those that don't follow.

Now, back to reality for a moment. If T and Co. has a solid foundation, then what does AOL have? Keep in mind AOL has their hands in over 50% of ALL internet traffic. Also keep in mind that AOL has about 15 million more subscribes then T and ATHM combined do (this isn't counting Compuserve, ICQ or any other AOL brands).

Also keep in the back of your head that the majority of homes in America has a phone line running to it (the target demographic that everyone is shooting for anyway). Not so for cable. Their still building their foundation.

Time will tell - but I won't be surprised to see Armstrong and Case side by side on CNBC in the months to come.
