DaiS, There is only ONE analyst covering Vivus actively ie Charlie O at PW. We have our GM back stabber who bought the Fulgham bs last June and down graded us the next day. As far as I am concerned I don't consider him an "analyst" any ways. CS First Boston still working for Vivus so not actively covering. Curtis Hogue who inherited Vivus from Wole Fayemi left CT and now they don't even have an "available" analyst. Those losers at CT should get on the ball and hire on an active analyst IMO. I suggest you all give them a call and tell those weasels to get their act together (714-757-5777). Another important thing to consider. We all know that Bear Stearnes was suspended from making a market in Vivus for at least 20 days yet we still do not know what the official NASD charges are against them. My major question is if they were indeed found to have been engaged in illegal trading practices does Vivus have legal grounds for a major law suit to be filed against them? I believe they do. Vivus needs to get their lawyers looking into this one. Me thinks this can significantly add to our cash position. VLAD New coverage initiated by a new player IMO is what we really need to liven things up a bit.
