Michael, $225 and a clear, blue day. Golf soon. Life sure can be great!

Sure is a bad day though. I heard some people are burying their children today.

Sure is a nice day!

[We shouldn't make idle boasts about how good our lives are. Just a passing thought, though I do it too. It's a peculiar world we live in now, with suffering in the Global Village no longer an impossibly distant and out of control situation. I think the reaction to 'sure is a nice day' is the blanketing nature of it despite the obvious fact that it is NOT a nice day for people who will read it. Maybe 'I'm having a great day' wouldn't carry the suggestion that everyone should be considering things a nice day...oh, I don't know...something like that...okay, I don't know what I'm talking about]

Dow 8099 May, June or July [Wow! look at the price of oil]

It seems we got the 'managed' scenario for oil rather than a free market. See end of this link:

I'd love it if The New Paradigm is so powerful that it just roars right past the price of oil, but I'm not depending on it. Not yet anyway. Too many people have got dirty great 8 litre diesels with huge torque. They'll get a bit of sticker shock when they 'gas up'.
