re - ABOV 50% off the highs has a great risk/reward for the ST bounce at the least. I only make one or two trades a week and want them high %. ABOVE is the one this week, a hold for position play.
Thanks for bringing it to my attn.

Most of what I own is 90% buy and hold(yrs) but the other 10% is position/ST.

This really is a great thread. It's not ego driven nor vindictive.
We all attempt to help each other out and benefit from it.

Cheers,

WOW, what an afternoon. My portfolio rose 3.5% since the time I asked you if you were buying. Got rid of ONEM after I bought it yesterday and it went down $2,000 today. Only lost $100. Whew. Margined up but was able to trim down on that. Hoping for a carry-over rally tomorrow and then back on track. Heavily loaded in BKS now. CDNW zooming back up. ATT, ATHM, MSFT, PFE, BEBE (always wanted that one and got it at 37 today), FATB, WIND, ELNK, IATV, DCTI and lots of COMS and ORACLE. Sorry to decribe my whole portfolio, but everything I have has been bought at recent "low" prices. So if the NAZ moves now, I make a lot of money. If not -- well -- we'll be nervously fretting again soon. But hopefully the last "bottom" has been tested in the growth stocks at least in the near term. NAZ was down six days in a row I believe. Time for a rebound. Thanks for your timing tip, Jeff. Up a cool grand just on those purchases. Now if we can just keep going here. Like I said, SO MUCH MONEY on the sidelines and in cyclicals. While ALCOA rose 50% AOL went down 30%. I'd say the market's balanced itself out pretty well now and techs and drugs may take the leadership role again.
