Ian, I am using FY 2000 consensus estimates from Yahoo! the data are unfiltered so there may be some quality problems. Another point should be mentioned: because a stock is trading at or near it full price does not mean that it is a bad investment.

In fact, it would be expected to appreciate at the growth rate times the annualized decay in beta if all other things were equal and if the stock meets earnings expectations. For example, TLAB might be expected to grow at (2.01)^.2*28% per year as growth expectations were actually met. That would put TLAB at a growth of 32.2% per annum from its full price. This assumes that the beta gradually diminishes to 1.00 over a five year period.

I don't know how valid these numbers are, but I am currently playing with them.
