Who knows how much of the $100mm charge for Q-3 is allocable to employee termination, severance and accelerated vesting, if any, of options? Since the Q-2 charge was for $166mm, including sale of infra and "restructuring of workforce" (including the layoff of 500--was it 700--employees announced before the ERICY deal), there is potentially a lot of meat to chew on here.

Perhaps the rub is different treatment for those 500 (700) compared to those who stuck it out until March 25.

I for one find it hard to believe that Dr. J et.al did not provide for at least some if not complete accelerated vesting schedule. There may be some for whom the date of termination and "transfer" to the hagfish clutches of Sven came just before additional grants were to be made. That's a bit stickier.
