These PCs are Bought and PAID for by somebody - they are just "provided" to the end user for "free" if the end user signs up for some long term service, over which time the provider recoups his investment in the "free PC" hardware.

Intel can compete in this market as good as anyone.

Especially if they shrink their Celeron to 0.18 microns like the Dixon QS and Coppermine.

A shrunk Celeron and Whitney Motherboard and VOILA - FREE PCs a la carte !
