Sonny, my Ha ha was for the possibility of market turbulence during the next 10 years.

I did the same thing you did with AOL when I put in a buy order for SUNW a while back around $50. I didn't have the conviction to really go for it so I thought I would go for a bargain. I also did that with QWST (I already have a substantial position there). I didn't necessarily want additional stock unless it was a clear bargain.

I think I mentioned to you a while back that I was seriously thinking about WCOM (got all the reports, etc.) 'way back before the MCI merger. I decided that it was not sufficiently exciting. That deserves a real Ha ha.

My philosophy is that you can't go for all the winners. I can't really follow more than about a dozen stocks closely. As long as you have some winners in your basket you are doing well.

Sonny,

About EMC: check out dailynews.yahoo.com

H-P doesn't seem to have good things to say about EMC, although there are many reasons why they might be that way.

Greenspan did not say anything terrifically bad, but the DOW is behaving erratically as is common during the first hour of trading.
