I work at one of top e-commerce software development labs. NETP is our partner in the personalization arena. Another major competitor of ours is also using NETP. VRSN was our last partner to IPO. I missed out on that boat. No way am I missing this one!

NET Perception pet peeve!

So I own some of this stock, and I am happy I do because it is a provider of top notch technology.

However, I am a little pissed at how nice they have set up their building. I drove buy their place the other day, and they have really decked out the outside of this place. I personally don't think it is money well spent. I am hoping the reason they IPO'd was to raise money to do R&D and effective marketing. 99.99% of the people driving by the place don't have a clue what this company even does. Name recognition is good, but name recognition is best done through add in print and on the web.

I would like to see alot of these start up net companies earn some money first before spending money on any nice to haves. No Herman Miller chairs until the money is rolling in!!
