Let see... the smart ones such as BS bot CUBE one year ago at about $23 while some dumb ones bot BRCM at about $27. Now Cube is up whopping 9% at $25 while BRCM is up mere 200% at $80.

No wonder that loser is screaming all over the thread...

If you think for one second that "competition" is priced into BRCM's stock price. Think again.

Of course BRCM - the company - is aware of competition and has it integrated into their business plan, but the investors sure don't.

Great reply - oh, by the way, wasn't Myron Scholes one of the partners in Long-term Capital Management, heeheeheeheeheeheeeee.......

As far as the competition is concerned, the market is growing exponentially, so there should be enough room for everyone for quite a while!

IF BRCM were smart...which they have demonstrated, they'd look for an MPEG player with encoding tech for the STB replacement of the VCR. Now who could that be?? Toss in a systems division and you have an instant counter attack on SFA and GIC. Fat margins get Fatter....but if all you're holding is BRCM for the broadband age,,, be prepared for the long haul if BRCM goes shopping, IMO.

85 looking like resistance...me no touch the short side for now though.
