I think the games are just beginning in DC regarding the posturing on this deal. AOL will get something out of AT&T/ATHM before this is all said and done. On the other hand, however, I think this merger could proceed without too much interference as I think there is substantial arguments to be made for adequate competition -- DSL & wireless.

In the end, AT&T will not be punished for having the balls to spend the money and make it happen.
