Teflon: I'll try to guess why he sold his shares. He would like to have a payday. This makes the government very happy. It makes the people that will benefit from his spending the money very happy and last but not least Bill will get a chance to enjoy the fruits of his labors. Of course all these reasons smack of capitalism and a certain existentialism worthy of Ayn Rand but if these did not apply who would bother to start the next MSFT.
