You forgot to mention that one of their board members is the richest man in the world and owns something like 13% of the common stock. But so what! Fact of the matter is that ICOS never made a dime on product sales because they never have carried a product from the R&D stage to market. They have only managed to burn through millions of $$$ and are estimated to lose $1.32/share in 1999 and $2.14/share in 2000. And then tell me that the fair market value of Vivus is $5 3/16. Bottom line folks is that we own a MANIPULATED stock.

Find me one small cap biotech company(other than Vivus) that has a FDA approved product selling in international markets and a decent R&D pipeline that is trading at 5 bucks. You can't because there are none! Joke is on us I guess.
