At the risk of offending Dr. Jacobs's mother, who is obviously posting under several alias here, by again "second guessing" her son, I must say that I think Q's price point on the pdQ is not conducive to a flooding-the-market-strategy. Such a strategy would be a gangbuster marketing move on Q's part. Takes out the competition up front by forcing them to mark down their inventory immediately, kills their gross margins, increases their cost of capital, and creates financial havoc in the distribution chain.

Although I've made quite a few chips on this baby in the last 45 days, I wouldn't shell out $500-$1,000 for the pdQ. Don't see the value added.
