Way back in Oct 98, I was considering getting into ATHM on the recommendation of someone I respect. Instead I went for CMGI. Looking back at the % return, it's clear CMGI has ATHM beat hands down. Yet, I always wanted to get into ATHM, because I believe in the long-term future of the company. I sold my CMGI around the same time I sold AOL at 166, and haven't gotten back into either. I'm still looking to get back into AOL, I'm done with CMGI, but now I'm tempted to get into ATHM.

I wonder if this is a good time, or have I missed the boat? By getting in, I mean holding for at least a few months or a couple of years, (not trading).

So many opportunities, and so much $ already spoken for...

I'm a bit concerned about most nets going forward the next few months. Will hang on to NITE, my new SFE, but would like to add AOL (damn, should have gotten in at 115 today) and maybe... ATHM

Any thoughts?
