I respectfully disagree with your "volume" analysis. I think it has been reflective of a volume that is a "genuine long-term" holding interest and institutional in nature. CUBE is definitely in an uptrend (tribute to TA).

I think we are going to see another strong leg up tomorrow. Hell, I think something is going on - say what you will, this INSTINET trading is not normal and definitely institutional.

No offense taken.
You have to understand that the market hates Alex. He had played everyone for a fool. His mother is loaded with CUBE shares (heard thru Engr.)
If you followed CUBE closely, you will notice that it tends to hit the 25-30 range then slump to under 20 and goes back up to the range all by itself without any "big" news other than the usual new product line, new contracts, etc.
I'm at a lost like you. However, if the rumor is about a CSCO buyout, it would only be because CSCO wants the leader of the class. The Intersect Manager(aka HONC) function basically like a router. Who knows. I personally didn't care for the product.
The large volumes you want to see won't be seen until there's a NR. It's a rumor going around the mill. However, if the large buy volume from yesterday and today were from company exec's then they would do it waaayy in advanced otherwise it would be considered insider trading.
