Here you go griz: PRIMO RESOURCES - EXPLORATION UPDATE - BUFFALO HILLS KIMBERLITE PROGRAM: SMOKEY RIVER EAST/AUBIN-ST. LARENT TARGET NEAR PEACE RIVER, NORTHWEST ALBERTA VANCOUVER, B.C.-- The Company announces that a detailed ground magnetic survey on 100 metre spaced East-West lines with station readings every 12.5 metres apart was carried out in March-April 1999, to verify a series of point source airborne Magnetic anomalies. The anomalies are located around a N20East trending creek and canyon structure located near a major junction the Smoky and Jean Cote Rivers and at a major intersection of N20East N70West and N70East and N20West trending basement faults. The survey outlined a continuous magnetic high 1000 x 400 metres in area with 4 internal bulls' eye centres with 30 gamma amplitude adjacent to the Aubin - St. Laurent canyon suggesting a near surface fissure dyke structure with N20East strike. A 14-foot backhoe trench dug on the centre of the anomaly revealed a non-magnetic, highly disturbed volcanic ash horizon with abundant carbonate veinlets suggesting alteration. No indicator minerals were found because the target was not intersected. The Company views the exploration results with great interest because of the fissure dyke exploration potential and location next to the Smoky River Fault Land intrusive corridor. Microprobe analysis is currently being done to determine composition of a suite of magnesium olivine, picro ilmenite and chromium diopside concentrates of stream sediments taken in 1998 from sites six kilometres north of the Smoky - Jean Cote River junction. Primo's 1999 season exploration program focuses on detailed boulder prospecting and heavy minerals stream sediment sampling down the Aubin - St. Laurent creek to Jean Cote River to Smoky River for reasons as follows: the canyon offers a 2 kilometre long continuous longitudinal section through the interpreted fissure dyke system and there is a 120 metre vertical drop in elevation from the Aubin Farm to Jean Cote River. Geologically, the section will extend below the volcanic ash horizon, which is prohibitive to soil geochemical or EM geophysical prospecting. The program is estimated to take 2-3 weeks using a 3-man crew at a budget of $30,000. Stream sediment samples will be processed at Overburden Drilling in Nepean Ontario. In summary. the proposed stream sediment geochemical program is designed to: 1) Document the existence of diamond indicator minerals a fissure dyke structure and major basement fault intersection where the west flowing Jean Cote river meets with the N20East flowing Smoky River: and 2) to bring the Aubin - St. Laurent fissure dyke to drill testing stage.
