SEC may or may not have other things in mind.

I believe that an interest was expressed by the SEC (or NASD) as to a Mr. Zwebner and Wavetech.

I also believe that if the pooling was exposed to the SEC by some parties (for their own reasons), then the Company will decide to either DEFEND their CPA approved position, or they will say WHO CARES, and just recast the Edge merger as a "purchase". I say "who cares" because, while a pooling is probably the most proper accounting treatment, I bet the revenues were "overstated" by only the PRE-merger sales e.g. my guess=$2,000,000 revenues tops (and the expenses get eliminated along with it) SO WHO CARES? Let's just get on with it!

We all FORGET (me too) that just minutes BEFORE the SEC pulled the rug out from under us, we saw a FABULOUS NEWS RELEASE from DCI. We could be THE A.O.L. of SPAIN for crying out loud!!!!

IMO DCI is right on track for $100M in revenues for FYE 3/31/2000, whether it be a "pooling" or a "purchase". it makes little difference to me. I care about FUTURE REVENUES. An annual change to expense for "goodwill amortization" is not so bad.

If it wasn't for fast acting SEC watchdogs the poor Canadian shorts might have been sucking wind while the stock climbed steadily based on FUNDAMENTALS and that SPAIN news!!

BTW anyone NOTICE that our former "buddies" Wavetech were halted "for news" YET when the news came out it STILL didn't trade??? ITEL is now a PINK SHEET stock. Not even up to the requirements of the OTC-BB. So the "news" was that they are getting kicked out of the NASDAQ. They allegedly "fired" DCI, and they got booted for it. I wonder who "fired" whom?

I am an ITEL shareholder, so I do hope they get OTC-BB sponsorship. The Softalk deal should help.
