I am watching this one. I have a friend who has the big P cancer. There is just no hope for him, and now this new drug is showing some real promise.

This will be huge if its all it is supposed to be. My friend did check into getting into one of trials, but right now is still in the denial phase and is afraid to take action.

Hope he changes his mind and finds a way to get this drug.

BTW, W.S. love your work, keep it up. Are you planning a sequel to Hamlet, its one of my favs.

Good Luck

Thurston

Meeting update from Yahoo .........

<<Phase 3 rfs 2000 has 3 different protocols:
? Head to head vs. Gemzar (no brainer winner here since Gemzar doesn't shrink the tumor; only palliates the patient and gives 4-5 weeks longer life ---sometimes)
? RFS 2000 on patients who have failed gemzar
? RFS 2000 vs patients who have failed using other treatments>>

<<"Joe mentioned that there will be a strong presence at ASCO next week (no specifics here - he may mean a dinky booth)"

He should mean Dr. Luigi Lenaz. He is an Oncology powerhouse and respected by every premier medical oncologist IN THE WORLD! Dinky booth or laser light show, they will come to talk to Gino!>>
