CPU get THWACKED. Ow! Doh!

Margins down. Sales in established stores down. Total sales up. Loss explained due to new operational computer systems and internet expenses.

I translate that to mean Dell and Gateway are killing them, and nobody knows or would bother with a CPU website.

Low margins are due to selling cheap boxes.

If they had the will and the vision, they could sell macs. I mean get out and sell them. They don't have what it takes to compete with on-line.

Maybe there is data to be mined on Mac sales, but I'm thinking CPU is not cutting the mustard for apple.

WebDrone,

>> Why write viruses for Mac when any Linux hacker can get so much more satisfation and market share by infecting Windows?

Why write viruses for the PC when running Windows inspires the same results? Viruses just give Microsoft a scapegoat for their own failings at stability.

Cheers,
