Day Trader...RE: but why not just sell now, take profit, wait till after the feds raise the rate, then think about buying it

I Don't believe in trying to time the top or the bottom. I have taken profits on the way up, and now hold shares that I am comfortable with in any kind of market. I have bought extra shares on the dips and sold most or all of them as the price climbs, thereby decreasing my original shares cost. I definitely have not been able to come even close to the top or bottom of the swings though. I don't believe anyone can with consistency. I have heard lots of people trying to guess what the markets and the economies will do in the future, but they are just that...GUESSES! In the long run, I believe the company will profit and the stock price will follow. Simple as that.

Good luck!
