I beg to differ. There are a lot of unsophisticated investors who rely on their brokers' advice.

Just go to your closest courthouse and you will find a lot of brokers under the Caption..."Defendant".

The world is full of "innocent investors". Their mistake was not Greed but Trust. The trust they place in someone's honesty. The greed you mention is expressed by those we have the misfortune of trusting.

I agree.

I would word it a little differently by saying that greed is good, but greed without fear leads to disaster.

I don't believe there are "innocent" investors either. There are naive, ignorant, and gullible investors, but no innocent investors.
