Harvey, that's quite an interesting report. It sounds like the Q has upped production of handsets by 60% in the past few months, and are looking to expand even more. Here's my favorite excerpt:

Our upward earnings revisions, however, was facilitated by a recent visit with senior management at the company's headquarters along with subsequent conversations to fine-tune our earnings model. The basis and justification for our upward earnings revisions are: 1) Improving manufacturing yields on mobile phones. For example, Qualcomm can now produce more than 160 phones each hour in each of its 18 manufacturing lines. It was only a couple of months ago when Qualcomm was only able to produce 100 phones each hour for every assembly line. 2) Capacity additions to mobile phone production. Qualcomm remains capacity constrained so it will be adding capacity by outsourcing some of its manufacturing. For example, the company will be adding capacity in Brazil at the same time it will be ramping up new facilities in Guadalajara as well as expanding the facilities in San Diego . . .
