it was in a cash account....since it was my IRA. I am very much frustrated by the "overnight buyig power" and "day trading buying power rules" when I think...that I understand them...I find that I do not...takes time... bottom line...for me....is....get rid of any margin on my accounts...have about $100K in cash at all times...(so I can trade!) and my son is writing a "trading program for me" so that I can pop in my trades prior to making them...to ensure that I am not violating and generating these Reg T calls..... sigh...Mary
