Jas, I have sold everything immediately. I do not think that 3% appreciation over two (or more) months make sense. If someone believes that there is a significant chance of higher bid I would suggest the cheapest $35 calls. $1000 can buy now from 80 to 160 contracts.
Sure, this money will be lost in case of done deal, however reward can be enormous and you do not have to keep cash in dead stock.
Initially I did it, because I also thought about possible bidding war.
Now I do not think it is going to happen. You know that Fore management was always very arrogant in buy out issues. The fact that they accepted so low price (I expected 40+) makes me think that there are not many grooms for this bride.

Just received notification from my broker that tender instructions should be made 3 business days before the expiration of the GEC offer. Expiration date is May 27, 1999.
