Dowd Monday, May 3 1999 9:45AM ET Reply # of 22250 Dear Frank: I hope that Bill doesn't spend the money but rather inserts MSFT in a strategic position in exchange for some kind of well leveraged financial assistance so that the capital is not wasted on a basically low return industry. After all a cable company is just another common carrier. It is the content people that make the money. JFD
