Anyone who doesn't think that AOL will have a broadband cable strategy within a few months and is shorting AOL because of this, is NUTS. Case will have a strategy. He feels the pressure. Whether it comes from leased lines from T, an unknown alliance, or a breakthrough with Congress, this dilemma will be resolved soon. There might be reasons to short AOL such as valuations. Broadband cable access is a poor reason.

Building of infrastructure means that combination will take time to get off the ground. Buy Iridium if you like tech ideas that might work.

AOL's model is working, and continues to get partners with content of interest to the consumer (see today's release), which determines ad dollars, which gets profits.

Later, Dennis

This is how the line up looks like so far for ATHM/ATT.
SUNW and CISCO are partners of ATHM.
CISCO AND SUNW provides the hardware/software.

AOL+NSCP+SBC = a triangle that is SLOW, and sometimes not available.
