K,

I am interested in why you changed your mind. Not to throw rocks, but because a discussion here or on one of the coffee shop threads might be helpful to our fellow investors. Many of them, especially among the lurkers, are trying to learn how to be better investors. Those of us with strong, confident voices sometimes have undue influence on them. It would be, I believe, a worthwhile payback for their respect if we share how we analyze these situations and what factors some times cause us to change our minds.

Henry

Well, lololol.

Now, then, Kowboy, just what happened--very recently, it would seem--that led you to make this decision?

Enquiring minds really want to know.

Well, good luck. And the thread will be duller without you. Don't mind when the vipers on RB turn on you; they would eat their young.

Humbly report, Kowboy, once again I'm stunned.

Yesterday:

I apologize for my straight forwardness! It's just that there are so many people out there just ready to assume the bad about ABFG without so much as ONE shred of evidence against THIS company . . .

Today:

Jest wanted to let yall know (as I have said I would) that I have sold my entire position with ABFG.

As others have asked, may I also humbly ask you to please explain, in as much detail as possible, what it is that changed your mind.

I've been following this thread to learn, and understanding your experience is critical to my humble understanding of what's happening here.

May I humbly add that your stating here out in the open that you did sell is, in my humble book (at present as things stand), on the positive side of your page. Thanks!

Cheers,

Svejk

Jest wanted to let yall know (as I have said I would) that I have sold my entire position with ABFG. BEFORE the "bashers" try to make a big deal of this, let me explain:

Kowboy,

Regardless of the external pressures that might have assisted in your decision, I believe that announcing your exit is superior to simply disappearing in a cloud of confusion. I notice that my post to you, and your response to me, were your last communications before your announcement. Uncharacteristically, it seemed to me, you apologized.

When I wrote my thoughts regarding the online persona vs. the real person, I certainly was thinking about you. You are the most, shall we say, "colorful" person on this thread. However, I had not yet lumped you in with those who had abandoned all shred of the concept of truth. I have been watching your posts carefully, and noted the careful wording I have long associated with some internal discomfort and a conflict between what is being represented and what you believe to be true.

I had not given up hope on you, in other words. I do not believe that you will be "let off the hook" easily, but it is possible that, online personas aside, we might have been friends. Some of your decisions will have unpleasant consequences, I suspect, but I do not wish you ill. You will have, it seems to me, enough of such wishes from others.
