Of course it's the violation of the rights of those involved in production (small children aren't capable of giving consent, murder is always a violation of individual rights) that make those activities despicable, and not the specifically the production of said materials. We probably wouldn't be on the same side were you to favor extending the prohibition to animation, for instance. There is no violation of rights in the drawing of a picture, as disgusting and perverted as it may be. This also assumes the animation springs only from the perverted imagination of the animator.
