dumbmoney, re: You need a leading-edge process to target performance/mW, too. Yes, but NSM must operate within the bounds of their resources. NSM's foundry decision removes a lot of risk and capital expense. We won't have to watch NSM go through what AMD is right now with financing their fabs. Also, I am a believer in the StrongArm. I have speculated from the beginning that the StrongArm was the real reason Intel made the deal with Digital. The FTC could not see the forest for all the trees. An integrated processor with the StrongArm core could knock NSM out of the IA market. Pravin.
