G8 Foreign Ministers Agree On Kosovo Plan
BONN (Reuters) - Foreign ministers from seven Western powers and Russia agreed on a common strategy for resolving the Kosovo crisis at a meeting in Bonn Thursday, a senior Western source said.

He said the basis of a solution would involve the further development of five demands made on Yugoslavia by NATO and that the Group of Eight nations intended as soon as possible to seek a U.N. resolution aimed at bringing peace.

''We have agreed a common strategy,'' Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Vladimir Rakhmanin told reporters. Asked how long it might take to get a U.N. Security Council resolution, Rakhmanin said: ''We shall see.''

The Western source said: ''At the moment we are at the stage of working out a sort of road map with a view to the U.N. resolution that everyone is striving for.

''The most important thing is that we achieved everything we set out to,'' the source added.

lorrie, my dear, it was extremely succinct for its purpose. In a magazine, it was short!
