The dollar reflects inflationary pressures which are developing whether the FED can see them or not. Inflation starts in people's heads and festers there for a long time. Long before the results show evidence that the FED can measure, there is the representation of that awareness in markets. This is why there must be a free market in money. There is no free market in money because the FED daily fixes the price of money. The fix never reflects the cravings of the mind.
