Re: Slow data rates, I ran QCharts and PCQUOTE at market open with a list of stocks and QCharts seems to run much better on limited bandwidth and it doesn't seem to require high transfer rates to get the same data as PCQ. I only see about 100/bytes of data going across vs. a much larger size of data needed by PCQ.. QCharts seems more efficient and it works like a charm on my lagging wireless modem. I don't know how they did it, but I am pleased! This morning, at market open and a few stocks in the quote sheet, QChart was faster than PCQ when checking the volume on INTC. PCQ was about 5 seconds behind. On some stocks with less activity, you couldn't tell. Perhaps when I connected to the server that is about 10 miles from me, maybe that had something to do with it <GGG> Pirate
