Linda, It is a subjective test, but the change in one's perspective is meaningful. The FDA is interested in such changes. Keep in mind, we are talking about ED, which is a quality-of-life issue, not a life-threatening disease. Besides, you may not obtain any more accurate information regarding an endpoint such as "penetration". People studying these treatments used to use endpoints that were measured by "penile rigidity".
