FWIW, the tape is strong and healthy, but there really hasn't been any block buying. A baby block (10K) shares on a stock this cheap doesn't mean much, I'm afraid, so I would look for a minimum of 25K slugs to mean anything as far as institutions are concerned, and even then it's questionable (since it's still less than $100K). The largest trade this morning has been 18K at $3 1/8 which was between the inside spread at the time.

I agree, george, selective disclosure sucks.

>>Sluggers find continues to show "Institutional" messages of interest in XOMA. About 400,000 shares have traded real time.<<

George,

I think Market Makers drove the market down the past few days to drive out weak hands, to accumulate shares and place shares with institutions. That is what my interpretation of what Thomson I-watch was showing.

If market maker has completed his placement/accumulation, which todays action would appear to indicate, then he will allow the market to run it's course.
