WOW; notice how the ''New Sherrif'' has run all the Gunslingers outta Dodge this morning...(VBG) - notice a few missing in action ? Wonder if the ''Sherrif'' instituted a ''bounty'' system ? Dead, or alive ? ie: E&P micro's - with some of these being able to move 50% in days ('cause they can !) there will be some retracement - backing & filling. But, we are talking doubles & triples to resistance, or even fair value. Do NOT miss the boat on these - still ridiculously cheap. For MEXP & PGEI - I won't even think about selling/trading these untill they breakout over $4 and $6 is not out of the question even near-midterm.... Use lots of ''leash'' and let these 2 dogs run ! RIG and DO are the preeminent deepwater, harsh condition drillers on the planet. imho there is tremendous value in both companies at these levels. The only question is where you buy in -- all the drillers and particularly the favs have had a really nice run as all the regulars here undoubtedly have noticed. We pulling back a bit now and I think we pull back more -- maybe retrace another 10% as crude bases at $15-$16. I'm betting the real ride will start in Aug.-Sep. Until then, I'm flipping in and out of OSX issues and major integrateds on their seemingly random fluctuations and also building positions in the nat. gas micro-caps. I think Slider is dead-on right as to their relative risk/reward in comparison to the OSX issues. fwiw
