ssssshhhhhh ... it is obviously some field in which one is not required to be able to perform such challenging chores as tracking down a list on the cygs.net web page. It took me almost a full minute to read two pr's that named names.

what type of scientific work do you do?

Since you're so good at finding information on web pages, I'll leave that as an exercise to hone your research skills on. No, it's not in mol bio, but I've had plenty exposure to that field - my cv is on the web, should you care to actually check facts for once. The priorities in mol bio are:

1. Patents, patents, patents. If you've talked about it (e.g. at a symposium) you can no longer patent it. Once the patent is pending,

2. publish in a peer-reviewed journal. This documents that whatever you've done is up to the current standards in the field. Finally,

3. the talk circuit. This leads into commercialization efforts.

OK, enough remedial education for today, I've got real work to do.
