Kevin, you misunderstood me. I was talking about what Medianah might do with the shares of Medinah gold that they are going to keep in Medinah Mining. Private placement could be to whoever. In regards to the short position...that is whole nother can of worms and I agree with other posts inregards to how that will turn out. Cheers.

>> I believe your way off base there. I know two of us have had conversations with management and management says the only way shorts are covering is on the open market.>>

It seems as if there is an A and B component here for the shorts.

A is that a short would have to cover his MDIN position but after Friday there will be no MDIN but the shorts will still be responsible for all the non-issued shares they created.

B is that a short will have to pay the dividend (which would be impossible) to all (shareholders) shares that his short position created.

Unless they covered today or tomorrow, they will not be able to cover on the open market. It will be done behind the scenes with the SEC, the shorts, and MDIN management.

The shorts will pay one way or the other but may feel it will be less painful for them to negotiate their way through this after the fact and not by covering on the open market.

Confusing to say the least. If anyone can explain the possibilities, it would be appreciated.
