Hi Barry :

Praise the Lord ! I got out of all my emerging market bond issues two weeks ago. I felt that the Y2K issue would adversely affect emerging foreign governments.

NEW YORK, May 19 (Reuters) - Emerging market bond prices declined Wednesday as investors worried about more issuers coming to market without sufficient demand from buyers, traders said.

Argentina's large financing requirements in the external debt markets are also weighing on the bond market as the country's economy remains in limbo, traders said.

Argentina global bonds due 2017 were 3-1/2 points lower at 90-3/4.

With a fed bias of tightening the dollar should strengthen against foreign currencies making especially the emerging markets vulnerable. I've been saying that the emerging markets have gotten ahead of themselves.

What do you think.

What about the BOE selling gold ? Personally I didn't rush out to sell my gold fund. Did you take any profits ? In Christ.gregor
