Gibbons... Thank you for your response. We all appreciate your honesty and frankness concerning the problems that have been encountered and solved. We hope the feedback we provide will help you improve rhe service.

This response is better than some sites which blame all the problems on the clients or transmission media. Thanks again!

Gibbons,

Thanks for coming on to the thread to update the situation for us. Much appreciated.

"Our LiveCharts site is still having difficulties related to its popularity and our load balancing, and some permissioning problems this morning."

Have you ever thought of not accepting any more new accounts until you've sorted out the problems? It would seem like you guys are shooting yourselves in the foot by accepting money for a service which you seem to not be able to consistently(that's an understatement) deliver. Kudos for your concept, but I have to say that your implementation and planning is sorely lacking.

Craig

PROBLEMS
"Our LiveCharts site is still having difficulties related to its popularity and our load balancing, and some permissioning problems this morning. We have solutions in place that will alleviate the load balancing problem over the next week."
Although I really like the service of Live Charts when it's working...
it seems every morning there is a problem logging on and then today it wouldn't recognize passwords even later in the day [ie all afternoon]....
With all the hits you guys have been getting, you must upgrade so that these problems stop happening!!!
Don't you know the busiest times are sometimes the most important times for traders?
Again, when it works it's great. But you can't blame technical malfunctions on people trying to log on to a site that you are inviting people to log onto.
It's your responsibility as a company to keep things running smoothly, or just let us know it works well only some of the time...

>>What that shows you is how efficient our data format is - we work
>>very well even on very slow (9600 bps) connections because of this.

Thank You ! I was dying using my wireless modem with other services... lag.. lag.. lag.. due to the wireless limited bandwidth..

What is the secret behind this ? <g>

Gibbons,

Could you please consider making paid LiveChart a standalone Java application to minimize the overhead of the browser??? Keep the free one the way it is. I chose LiveChart since I don't have access to wintel machine during the day most of the time.

Today the paid service is much worse than the free one due to password lock-out problem. I can't wait the load-balancing resolution on LiveChart.

Thanks,
JT
